DawgDanas was an LLC that was fully student-operated from January to May 2022.
During a business student's sophomore year at Butler University, they take a class called Real Business Experience. Over the course of this class, students take a product idea and turn it into an operational company - creating branding, sourcing the product, and selling it within the Butler community.
I operated as the CMO for DawgDanas - a bandana with an elastic band sewn in so that the consumer can easily dress their pet. I created the logo, color template, and social media posts, being sure to create a consistent brand identity. I also made other strategic marketing decisions, such as pricing and field promotions.
Result:
Dawgdanas was profitable! The company generated over $1500 in sales, resulting in nearly $900 of profit.
