All Year Ground

During a business student's first year at Butler, they take a class called First-Year Business Experience (FBE). The course assigns an industry and splits students into teams, which then come up with an innovative product that could flourish in the industry. The semester is then dedicated to conducting industry research and writing a full business plan.

The industry? Landscaping. My product idea? A combination lawn mower/snowblower. My team was excited to run with the idea and named me Chief Product Officer. While I wasn't our CMO, I also designed our logo and our graphics, including the hypothetical schematic, and worked collaboratively to make strategic decisions in our marketing plan.

At the end of the semester, one team - across all sections of the class - is named Top Dawg. I'm thrilled to say our team took home the title - as well as a cute little trophy that still sits on my desk.
